Take Home Whitening System

For most patients, we recommend whitening your teeth in the comfort of your own home, as it is the most cost effective and efficient way to get great results.

What is the process for at home teeth whitening?

First, we ensure that your oral hygiene is of a sound standard, as it is not recommended that you use whitening products where there is decay active. Once your teeth are ready, we create moulds to create very thin and comfortable mouthguards which are custom-fitted to the upper and lower arch of your mouth.

At your appointment with the dentist you will be provided with instructions for use and the correct amount of whitening gel to be placed into each of your whitening trays.

You will be instructed to wear your trays each day after brushing your teeth. Within 7 to 10 days, most patients see quite amazing changes and visibly brighter teeth. As the Take Home System is a low dose dispensed over a longer period of time, we believe it is the safest way to whiten teeth, with the lowest risk of developing post-whitening tooth sensitivity.

Dental In-Chair Whitening

Zoom whitening is our in-chair whitening option.

This is conducted during a 90-minute appointment with a specialised ‘laser’ designed to whiten your teeth.
As with the take home system we first need to ensure that there is no active decay before we commence this treatment.

Patients who prefer an instant whitening procedure, rather than doing it themselves at home may choose this style of whitening.
