What is a dental implant?

This creates an initial stability, which over time is steadily enhanced by further growth of bone into the microscopic roughness on the implant surface itself.

After placement, an implant fuses together with the jawbone. This process is known as Osseointegration. Once this process is complete, our dentist will then attach a crown, denture or bridge on top, to replace the missing tooth or teeth.
